Capital One, Bon Secours receive NAFE recognition

Capital One Financial Corp., the Richmond region’s largest private employer, has been named one of the 50 Top Companies for Executive Women by the National Association for Female Executives.
NAFE also named Bon Secours Virginia Health System as one of the best nonprofits in the country for supporting female employees and promoting gender diversity in its leadership positions.
The list honors 50 corporations and 10 nonprofits that identify and promote successful women.
Capital One was recognized for the training and coaching programs it provides leaders as well as flexible work options and an active women’s employee resource group.
The health system, which includes operations in the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas, has been recognized on the list for the 10th time.
Women at Bon Secours make up 44 percent of Bon Secours’ executives, 73 percent of its senior managers and 50 percent of its board.
Other large area employers on the list include Bank of America, DuPont, Pfizer, Target, Verizon Communications and Walmart.
