Saunders promoted to GRP Vice President of Operations

RICHMOND, Va. (April 26, 2021) – The Greater Richmond Partnership (“GRP”), the lead regional economic development organization serving the City of Richmond and counties of Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico in Virginia, announces that Anita C. Saunders has been promoted to Vice President of Operations.
“Anita has been a valued member of the GRP team for nearly a decade, skillfully navigating change while managing operations of the organization,” said Jennifer Wakefield, President and CEO of GRP. “The Board and I recognized her talents and capabilities extend beyond her previous title and are pleased to promote her to a key management role.”
Saunders started at GRP in 2011 and served as Operations Manager and Corporate Secretary since 2012. Before joining GRP, she worked for Capital One for 17 years before deciding to take some time off to raise her children. Saunders attended Reynolds Community College and Mary Baldwin University.
She is a former officer of the Executive Women International Richmond Chapter and member of the Society of Human Resources Management and Junior Achievement of Central Virginia.
