For second year in a row, GRP ranks among Top Economic Development Organizations

RICHMOND, VA – The Greater Richmond Partnership, lead regional economic development organization (EDO) for the City of Richmond and counties of Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico in Virginia, announces it was awarded a 2023 Mac Conway Award for Excellence in Economic Development. This prestigious ranking by Site Selection Magazine places GRP among the top 20 economic development organizations in the nation.
“Last year was our best year in the last 20 years with major projects from companies like The LEGO Group, CoStar Group, EAB and Walgreens,” says GRP President + CEO Jennifer Wakefield.
“Together with our state and local partners at the City of Richmond and counties of Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico, we are seeing unprecedented activity. Site Selection Magazine is a leading provider of economic development news. This is the second consecutive year the publication ranked GRP among the top 20 U.S. economic development organizations.
