Coil manufacturer planning another expansion of Chesterfield facility

A manufacturer already established in Chesterfield is gearing up for another expansion of its local plant.
Minnesota-based Super Radiator Coils is planning to add nearly 80,000 square feet to its facility at 451 Southlake Blvd., per a site plan received by the county last month.
The addition would rise on property owned by the company, and would be built onto the existing 177,000-square-foot plant according to the plan, which identified Timmons Group as the project’s engineer and Baskervill as the architect.
Further details about the project, such as construction schedule and anticipated cost, were unclear. A company spokesman declined to comment.
The upcoming expansion would be the fourth such project to be completed at the Chesterfield-based plant since it opened in 1980.
In 2022, Super Radiator Coils completed a 56,000-square-foot expansion of the facility. Other expansion projects took place in 2001 and 1992 at the site.
