Angela is the Vice President of Strategy for the Greater Richmond Partnership. She is responsible for the organization’s fundraising and managing strategic projects and initiatives. Angela helps the Partnership maintain a competitive advantage and Greater Richmond to become the top mid-sized region in the U.S. for companies to invest.
Before joining GRP, Angela most recently worked in the private sector as a business development and marketing professional where she cultivated and nurtured relationships with critical partner organizations, existing clients, new prospects, leads and internal teams. In this role, Angela developed strategies to consistently engage with target audiences and planned unique events to encourage relationship building.
Angela also has experience in Greater Richmond’s economic development community having previously worked for the Henrico Economic Development Authority as a Marketing Representative on the Business Attraction team. In this role, she traveled domestically and abroad to offer information about the benefits of operating in the region to targeted companies with expansion or relocation potential. Prior to Henrico EDA, Angela also worked on the research team at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership for three years, coordinating and producing customized proposals, presentations and requests for information responses to market Virginia and its communities as the best state for business.
She is a native of the region through and through having grown up in Henrico County and receiving a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from Virginia Commonwealth University. Angela currently lives in Chesterfield County with her husband and daughter where she enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family.
