Condair unveils new $57 million production facility in Chesterfield

Condair Group, a Switzerland-based manufacturer of humidifiers, dehumidifiers and evaporative cooling products, celebrated the opening of its $57 million production facility in Chesterfield County on Thursday.
The new facility is expected to bring in 180 jobs for people in Chesterfield and beyond.
“The economic impact of this facility in our county cannot be overstated,” said Bermuda District Supervisor Jim Ingle. “Condair’s presence will strengthen our community by creating jobs and generating tax revenue, which will help us to invest in our schools, police, fire and other important public services.”
The 400,000-square-foot building was most recently used as a Peloton distribution center, according to Condair and Chesterfield officials. It has since been renovated and refurbished to accommodate Condair equipment.
