COTU brewery expansion will enable 50 percent more beer production

Center of the Universe Brewing Co. is in the middle of a $550,000 expansion that will enable it to brew 52 percent more beer each year.
The expansion, which began about six months ago, is scheduled to be completed in September and includes a new canning line, four additional tanks and remodeling the brewery’s tasting room, said co-founder Chris Ray.
