Google Express begins delivery service in Richmond area

The merchandise delivery service run by the company behind the Google search engine is expanding to the Richmond area and other markets on the East Coast today as part of a plan to be nationwide by the end of the year.

With Google Express consumers can place orders online for products available at local stores — including Costco, Whole Foods Market and Kohl’s — and have those products delivered in under two days. Google launched the shopping service in 2013 in California.
