RICHMOND, Va. (January 23, 2025) – The Greater Richmond Partnership (GRP) announces the promotion of Jenny Wharry to Research Manager.
Wharry joined GRP in May 2024 as Business Development Coordinator to help identify and nurture leads to attract new companies to the region. Wharry quickly gained a deep understanding of Greater Richmond’s business advantages and the type of data companies seek when choosing new operating locations.
As Research Manager, Wharry will perform economic, statistical and demographic analyses of Greater Richmond to increase the likelihood of securing new and expanding company projects for the region. Wharry’s efforts will also help to inform and improve Greater Richmond’s position in national and international lists and rankings.
“The Greater Richmond Partnership is widely sourced for its regional data and analyses,” said GRP President + CEO Jennifer Wakefield. “I’m excited to have Jenny on the Research team to bolster GRP’s business information for our valued clients and partners.”
GRP provides business intelligence information on demographics, labor availability, cost of living comparisons, education and more. Downloadable datasets are free and available in GRP’s online database.
