Henrico’s Cobbs Creek Reservoir project moving forward

Work on Henrico County’s $280 million, 15 billion-gallon Cobbs Creek Reservoir is set to begin early next year.
Bids for the construction of the reservoir in Cumberland County are expected to go out this fall, officials say, and the Board of Supervisors is expected to select a contractor in early 2017. The reservoir, paid for through revenue from county utilities, remains on track to be complete by 2022.
