Martin Agency wins ad contract for Ritz Crackers

The Martin Agency, a Richmond-based advertising firm, has won the Ritz Crackers advertising contract from Mondelez International Inc.
Havas Worldwide New York has had the account since 2007.
“We are excited about the opportunity to engage Martin on the U.S. Ritz business, a priority and iconic brand in our portfolio,” a Mondelez spokeswoman told Advertising Age.
A formal review did not take place. However, The Martin Agency has been handling the advertising for Oreo and Chips Ahoy!, both Mondelez brands in its biscuit category, since 2012, according to Advertising Age.
Mondelez operates a bakery plant in eastern Henrico County that makes Nabisco brand crackers and cookies, including Ritz Crackers and Oreo and Chips Ahoy! cookies.
