Richmond Riverfront Amphitheater on track to open summer 2025

By this time next year, Richmonders and visitors alike will be attending downtown riverfront live concerts from some of the nation’s most popular artists, developers say as construction on the 7,500-seat amphitheater project remains on track.
The Riverfront Amphitheater, a $30 million open-air concert venue to sit on four acres of a nine-acre parcel on the hillside next to the American Civil War Museum, is on schedule to open in summer 2025.
The announcement comes on the nearly one-year anniversary of the Richmond City Council unanimously approving the project — solidifying a two-year turnaround.
