Tredegar Film Products expanding at India plant

Tredegar Film Products, a subsidiary of Richmond-based Tredegar Corp., plans to expand its manufacturing capacity for apertured film for personal care applications at its Pune, India, facility.
The expansion will serve the growing hygiene market in India and is another step in Tredegar’s plan to grow aggressively in the emerging markets, the company said.
It expects the additional capacity at the India plant to be fully operational by the fourth quarter.
Tredegar Film Products manufactures plastic films, elastics and laminate materials for the personal care, electronic display, flexible packaging, lighting and other specialty film markets.
